A Little Bit About Myself
I graduated from the University Of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Human Communications. I've always loved being creative and researching ways that I can improve my skills whether it'd be my hobbies of music or DIY projects. During college, I found an interest in Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Social Media.
My internship at a startup agency called Intern Pursuit furthered my development in learning more about marketing. In my social media and marketing intern role, I prepared and scheduled social content via Hootsuite. Also, I attended professional events and workshops that have provided me with the experience and knowledge to pursue inbound marketing tactics as well as improve my social media marketing efforts. I was also a creator for the Intern Pursuit’s podcast show called, "Intern Whisperer" which gave me the opportunity to partner with local business owners and schedule talent for podcast episodes. I learned to emphasize and treasure client branding and its mission.
After graduating amid COVID, I've applied the information and guidance I've learned to help my family business, Davila Woodwork. I noticed the company lacked a social presence that would benefit tremendously on their overall brand awareness. I became the Social Media Manager and quickly got started helping curate content via Instagram and Facebook posts and stories. I did this by being onsite, taking images of progress being done, and of course the final product at the end. Doing so gained attention rapidly and was able to roughly gain over 200 new followers to this day.
Lastly, I moved on to being a Digital Marketing Assistant for the promotional company named HealthMerch. During my time here, I managed our company's product portfolio using Magento 2, created email marketing campaigns via Hubspot, curated content for HealthMerch and Say It With A Condom's social media, created blogs for upcoming campaigns, and refreshed the overall performance of our company's site.
